Party preferences more polarized by race and ethnicity under Obama.

PRINCETON, NJ -- Whites and nonwhites have long shown differing political party preferences, with nonwhites widely favoring the Democratic Party and whites typically favoring the Republican Party by at least a small margin. In recent years, however, the margins in favor of the Republican Party among whites have been some of the largest.

In a multi-racial society that has “diversity,” all politics come down to race sooner or later.

There are many more articles about the GOP’s problems with non-whites and female voters than about the Democrats’ problems with white and male voters. Some voters are more equal than others.

This thing happens when a vicious anti-white
bigot like Obama is in charge.

I dunno. As many surrender monkeys as we have on our side these days, we're quickly snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. We have to do a better job of shaming them into standing and fighting, be they in Congress, the state legislature, or right here on FReep.

“In a multi-racial society that has “diversity,” all politics come down to race sooner or later.”

The most successful blacks I’ve personally known never said a thing that was racial to me. They were totally focused on being the best they could be and they never played the race card. The closest one came was a guy helping me on a project at his house. We decided to go out to dinner and he slipped on a sport coat. When I asked why he said, “I’ve been stopped several times for DWB (driving while black) and I’ve found if I’m well dressed and respectful they just look at my license and send me on my way.” Although I don’t wear a sport coat I have found the exact same thing. I almost always dress professionally just to drive to the store. If you do get stopped or you end up in an accident you’re the one the cop asks, “What happened here?”

...and the more the race card is played, the worse it’ll get for the Dems.

Because, you see, the vast majority of people in this country (of any color/race/whatever) are not racists. We don’t have the time, and are not filled with the hate, necessary to waste on such a fruitless exercise. Anyone who knows enough blacks, whites and hispanics (and any other group you care to mention) likes some of them and dislikes others of them...all of which has NOTHING to do with their outward appearance.

Accuse someone of being/doing what they aren’t/didn’t do, and you have an excellent recipe for getting that someone to ignore you (at best) or to despise you. If’n you’re a politician, this is not a wise move.

The most successful blacks, like the most successful whites, are truly racially blind. But, when politicians and activists, those on the left, seek to create political fault lines based on race, eventually the society fragments into those camps. It’s all in the name of diversity, but really it’s divisive.

It occurs to me that “diversity” and “divisive” share the same Latin root word.

RE: “With the U.S. becoming increasingly racially and ethnically diverse, the balance of political power may shift toward the Democrats unless Republicans increase their advantage among a shrinking white majority, or cut into Democrats’ advantage among nonwhite voters.”

There is a third option.

We can stop mass immigration from Third World countries.

For the last 15 years, it has averaged more than 1 million per year.

If you are a Conservative, there is only one statistic you need to know:

New immigrant citizens vote 80% for the Democrat Party.

Interesting spin. Fifty-someodd-percent of a certain demographic votes for a certain way and it must be RACISM. 95% to 98% of another demographic votes a certain way and you hear nothing but crickets.

I also like how there was only one real demographic presented, whites, with everyone and everything else lumped into one category.

See how BO has brought the races together?

But we are constantly reminded “race doesn’t matter”.

I keep hearing, whenever the media reports about Michael Sam that his “being [homosexual] doesn’t matter, he wants to be known as a football player”...but then they ramble on about how he is a homosexual.

The original desired title of this article was "Blatantly Racist U.S. Whites More Solidly Republican in Recent Years" but even the liberal media didn't think they could get away with that one.

In 2008 Obama got 95% of the black vote and 43% of the white vote. It is obvious which group has cornered the market on racism.
