Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder said he will follow however a federal judge rules on the legality of same-sex marriages in his state, and insisted he has never taken a public position on the issue.
Snyder made the comments at a Bloomberg View forum with reporters in Manhattan on Monday, as gay couples who married in the last few days awaited clarity after a federal judge put a temporary hold on a ruling overturning Michigans ban on gay marriage.

Love him or hate him, Snyder has made pretty clear that all he cares about are economic issues and he’s generally not willing to fight much on social issues.

May the Lord judge us quickly and swiftly, please spare His remnant, and replace the wicked with a people who follow His Word.
We have murdered 55,000,000 babies, we are celebrating perversion, and burdening the next generation with unprecedented debt. This is sin.

Does ANYONE have any doubts how the liberal activist courts will rule on redefining marriage? The deck is stacked and the sooner every single American understands this the sooner we can CORRECT the government system that has overtaken America starting in the early 1900s and throw these bums out - every single one of them.

I posted months ago that that is how ‘they’ will go about pushing gay marriage in those states that do no specifically approve it — the FED and the Courts. Of course, that would also include state politicians and officials who do not confront the issue.

Its a double edged sword. What the story doesn't mention is the fact that it doesn't matter what he says because Michigan has an attorney general that operates independently of the governor and will fight to the bitter end. (Really hoping Bill Schutte runs for governor in the future)

RINO Rick won’t take the chance of offending the feds, because he wants fed money for any project, and he truly believes that federal money grows on trees.
Not an ounce of fight against Obamacare out of Snyder.

He sounds weak and hopeless, and like he doesn’t understand that social liberalism makes economic conservatism, impossible.
