Paying pork is the only way to buy votes to get legislation passed. Whether it’s good or bad isn’t important. The question is, do I get my pork or not? No pork, no vote. Simple as that.

How do you think we get all these horrible laws. This is why the guy you sent there to do X and he votes for a bill to do the exact opposite. But, he got a bridge to know where for his buddies, he got a defense contract for the company that gave him $200k. He also got a museum named after him.

YOU are so right, General. Pork is part and parcel of our system.
There's nothing wrong with putting a little apple sauce with it--sweetening a deal, that is.

Our system AIN'T perfect SO I invite the naysayers to leave our country and live somewhere else. Why not? Let them SEARCH the planet for a better place to live than here.

Hah, it's my guess that they wouldn't last long anywhere else.

I would love to hear a response by “The Assumed/So Called Congresswomen” who recently claimed that our great grandparents were around 400 years ago and had something to say regarding the Destiny of the Destined Plane that never landed in its scheduled destination.
