I hate to point this out, but I suspect the female security officer did not have the body mass to take on the male truck driver which is why she got disarmed. I would also suspect she was unprepared to fire her weapon into the "suspect" despite the warnings that deadly force is authorized.

I agree, the trucker should never have gotten close enough to touch her, he should have been in the hospital or morgue before that could happen. If the person isn't willing to pull the trigger they shouldn't be issued a weapon, or be put in a situation where they would have to. To paraphrase " A persons got know their limitations".

Perhaps. All actions start in the mind and the dead PO may have been back on her heels and unwilling to shoot because of the same said PC BS.
