It does look like it is only 50/50 for the southern route. If was the southern route, may something be found soon.
They are basing everything on INMARSAT but its relatively new technology could be wrong..I heard that if a plane goes on the outer banks of India that there is no signal and they could easily get by..Pakistan they wouldn’t be able to without having approval of the Govt
