I was giving my short answer.

All people are racist.
All people are sexist.
All people are ageist.
All people are “incomist”.

We all judge people we don’t know based on what we do know when we first see them. We then alter our opinion as we learn more about them through interaction with them, reading, what have you.

And it is VERY smart to do so. I was in sales in the 70’s and I consciously embraced all of those rules listed above and won sales contests doing so.

and not all prejudices are irrational. to ignore them can put people in danger. ie whites don’t go walking around an inner city black neighborhood at night and think everything is going to be wonderful for them.
