METHODOLOGY - This ABC News/Washington Post poll was conducted by landline and cell phone March 26-30, 2014, in English and Spanish, among a random national sample of 1,017 adults. Results have a margin of sampling error of 3.5 points.

It’s a junk poll, a desperation poll, a poll seeking an predetermined answer.

Spanish speaking tells you illegals. American citizens speak English.

Adults means anybody despite their voting history, registration or likelihood.

The only polls that really matter are properly balanced polls of likely voters.

Furthermore - we don’t get the crosstabs. The pollster, Langer, doesn’t or won’t provide the details of the poll or the demographics.

Garbage and lies and lies and garbage: that’s our American media.

Yea, forget about that poll last week showing a 25% approval... The propaganda machine around this lie is better than anything Nazi Germany had.

Just because it might work doesn’t mean its a good idea.

What is wrong with people — do they place so little value on their liberty?

Like I’ve been saying ... the GOP’s all in against ODimwitcare for 2014 will be a disaster.

Exactly. Americans eventually come around to accepting abridgements to their freedom in exchange for what they're told to believe is "for the greater good." As such, GOPers will need to broaden their message way beyond Obamacare to start closing the gap in the Senate in November.

Half of Americans don't even understand why Obamacare restricts their liberty. They'd eagerly glom onto single payer if their favorite celebrity or sports star told them it was best for them. We're not talking about a particularly bright bunch here...

The poll question asked:
“Overall, do you support or oppose the federal law making changes to the health care system? Do you feel that way strongly, or somewhat?”

The propaganda apparatus is in high gear.

And the liberals and great unwashed will lap it up.

This push by the press would be laughably embarrassing if it weren’t so damned frightening.

I think it's eased. The final final deadline came and went and it hasn't caused most people hardship yet.

The HOR RINOs were wrong to fund it. With it still being funded, Obama's been able to change the rules at will. Besides that, the 'pubs look weak. Nobody's going to change their allegiance to side with people who can't or won't accomplish something.

In other news, 51% of men have decided that the "right" to violently rape random women should be protected by law. Since the Constitution and the rule of law are now completely subservient to democracy, Congress expects to pass the so-called "Get Some! Act" next week, and the Rapist-in-Chief is expected to sign it.

Constitutional rights are not lost when some poll exceeds 50%. This is (was?) a Constitutional Republic, NOT a democracy.

As someone cited, must not lose the fact that it is APR 1

oBomaScare and the 'due date', along with the fact that DC has it primary for Mayor today, just proves that people in 'high places' have either a real sense of IRONY or a fair sense of humor.

To have both such misconstrued events fall on APRIL FOOLS DAY is as much a sense of brilliance as "The Cable Guy" and his 'Only a genius would build a city 5 feet below sea level and fill it with LIBERALS that can't swim'(close) as being 'good, timely statements'.

"They" have skewered the books and numbers so bad that NO one has a clue as to what is up.

Maybe 'we' should elect a 'weak' Pres/Senate/House for the next term as the first four years or going to be 'wasted' getting this mess somewhat straightened out. No sense 'wasting' (real) GOOD people for that period, get the seat(s) and get to work. Then follow up with GREAT people for the RECONSTRUCTION II for the 'Civil War' that was fought with (almost) nary a shot being fired.

1. Overall, do you support or oppose the federal law making changes to the health care system? Do you feel that way strongly, or somewhat?

Support ( Net 49% Strongly = 25 Somewhat = 24 )

Oppose ( Net 48% Strongly = 12 Somewhat = 36 )

2. Overall, do you approve or disapprove of the way Barack Obama is handling implementation of the new health care law? Do you feel that way strongly, or somewhat?

Approve ( Net 44% Strongly = 19 Somewhat = 25 )

Disapprove ( Net 54% Strongly = 15 Somewhat = 39 )

3. Overall, do you support or oppose efforts by Republicans in Congress to replace the new health care law? Do you feel that way strongly or somewhat?

Support ( Net 47% Strongly = 28 Somewhat = 19 )

Oppose ( Net 49% Strongly = 17 Somewhat = 32 )

So, it has a 3.5 percent margin of error and the results in question 1 ( which is where they got their headline )show approval at 49 percent and disapproval at 48 percent. It could have easily gone the other way within the margin of error. If they were truly honest in their reporting, the headline would be from question 2, which is a 54 percent disapproval versus a 44 percent approval. But it is the lapdog media, so that is to be expected.

How many sign-ups are people who lost their insurance because of OBC?

How many of the 40 million uninsured (their number) are still uninsured.

How many of the enrollees are illegals?

How many were previously insured and are now uninsured?

Wow, it went up from 26% to 49% in a couple days!

Don't forget, they signed up a million folks on a day where the website was down for half the day. I guess the figured out their contention problems...
