Family members whose loved ones were killed in auto accidents linked to a defect in GM cars demanded answers -- and accountability -- ahead of the CEO's scheduled testimony on Capitol Hill on Tuesday.

Calling the GM cars a "death trap," they said the company knew for years the vehicles were dangerous -- but their sons, daughters and relatives are dead "because they were a cost of doing business GM's style."

Well, I hope they’re treated better than the victim’s families who demanded answers from the Obama Administration about what happened in our Death Trap Diplomatic Mission in Benghazi.

At some time in the future, we will find the emails in which Obama’s WH thru the Transportation Dept asked Govt Motors to suppress.

Only a matter of time.

Am I the only one who thinks Barra bears a striking resembalence to Lehrner both in looks and manner?

Why is the government in full scale assault on THE GOVERNMENT CAR COMPANY?

And instead of lawyers, accountants and Aunt Minnie down the street, how about cars be designed and built by car guys?

“On the day I took office, our auto industry was on the verge of collapse...We got the industry to retool and restructure. Today, General Motors is back on top as the world’s No. 1 automaker. “
~ Barack Obama on Tuesday, January 24th, 2012 in the State of the Union address

Odd, he did the same thing to the United States of America...he fixed until it was broken — Humm, I’m sensing a theme here, everything he gets involved in gets worse.

As I recall, the bailout exempted GM from lawsuits due to faulty cars.

When we were still dating, my wife’s old jeep Cherokee (maybe a model year 2009) would just turn itself off while driving.

All you could do was put it in neutral and restart the engine then put it in drive.

Being in Atlanta at the time that meant you were in traffic on a freeway going about 75.

She wouldn’t go see about it because that’s how women are. Drove me nuts.
