It makes me wonder why any of us still keep trying after this thread. Might as well enjoy life while we can. Soon it will all be over.
When my mother died, her estate got a letter within two weeks stating that she was being removed from the voter rolls. She was a registered Republican.
My dad is probably still “voting” as he was a registered Democrat. Baltimore City law is that the deceased person has to notify the Board of Elections of his demise. (just a little bit of sarcasm) - but the point is, the City does not check with death certificates, addresses, property taxes, etc - just waits for someone to tell them that the voter no longer lives in Baltimore City.
No wonder poll workers feel comfortable throwing in a few extra votes at their precinct at the end of the voting day.
