It would be no different if the driver were black (and may very well be).
Cripplecreek, I respect your judgment and your position as being a Michigan resident and therefore, much more familiar than I with these kinds of matters, but here I disagree. Any white man would have received this kind of treatment but I don’t think a black man would. Just my perception.
I grew up in a poor white area neighboring a poor black area and learned early on to be forever vigilant. I may survived to adulthood thanks only to the efforts of an armed white man that rescued my 13-year old hiney from a group of approximately 75 black yutes (Tiggers).
Young black males often jump in front of cars driven by Whites just to cause mayhem - sometimes they misjudge.
