Is anyone else questioning all of this intense action on a downed plane? Think about it. Since when does a downed plane cause such a massive effort for this length of time by the entire world? I find it odd.
It is odd because it is an extremely rare event.
The cooperation is local politics. China has a navy and since there were so many Chinese on board, politics demands they enter the search. Ditto the USA except we would help out anyway because that’s what we do. The search came into Australian waters and they are therefore politically motivated too.
But over all, there are world navies that are at sea and they can just as well deploy to the search as cruise somewhere else. ditto aircraft
You are right, but the reason for MH370’s 15 minutes of fame is the dearth of info, and what little there was making a nuke-laden airplane bomb a leading theory.
239 souls from 14 nations vanished on board a Boeing 777 which has a nearly flawless safety record, along with:
1. Twitter and other social media outlets added to a feverish 24/7 news cycle frenzy;
2. Muslims in the cockpit and multiple passengers using stolen passports;
3. Countless episodes of conflicting reports for flight path, altitude, speed, radar signals.
Other than the above, it makes for a rather intriguing mystery.
What is odd? A large plane vanishes with hundreds of people, with no known cause. People fly on these planes every day. It would be nice to know what happened so as to protect others.
