Any CEO that is confronted by these fascists should only refer them to the Federal Government's CDC website. They cleverly have a brochure on "MSM" that lays out the hazards of sodomy sex. The "MSM" is the euphemism for Men Sodomizing Men...

Any CEO who is looking out for the health and wellbeing of his employees would be irresponsible not pointing out the Federal Govt's own warning on "gay marriage" health hazards.

One point — Mozilla is a private company...they ought to be able to hire and fire the ceo as they please...for whatever reason (unles prescribed by law)...

And as a customer, I am happy to continue NOT to use firefox...

Of course not. McCarthy was doing the right thing.

In answer to the title, NO. It is more like the Salem witch trials.

I was a subscriber to Reason many, many years ago. In short order I found Reason is anything but “Reason.” Most at Reason had a strong bias against Christians. They are much more comfortable with the left.

What Eich did as a private person was his business, and he did it without jumping on a public soapbox to associate his position with that of his employer. It was also legal, and stood with the morals and principles of the majority of those in the state of California. That's his right as a private citizen. I support both his personal view and his right to contribute to a cause that he supports. If he were on the other side of the issue, I would still support his right to contribute and hold those beliefs. That's what America is about.

Mozilla, on the other hand, has taken a corporate stance and made a very clear statement that's contrary to the feelings of millions of people in the country. As a LONGTIME Firefox user, I am very displeased that they have waded hip-deep into public policy, especially one that's antithetical to my personal beliefs.

I have nearly 10 computers that have Firefox as the default browser, but I will express my disgust with Mozilla by moving my allegiance to a competing browser and no longer recommending Firefox to those people who solicit my help with their computers.

Are you now, or have you ever been a member of the communist party?

Are you now, or have you ever been a witch?

Do you now, or have you ever opposed gay marriage?

Sounds like the same thing don’t it.

Does Mozilla Dumping Its CEO Over Prop. 8/Anti-Gay-Marriage Stance = McCarthyism?

More accurately, it is Homofascism.

Secular humanism is the state run religion. It is the religion of government and the business world..

One could say that this religious thought unites the political, economic and societal ‘group thinks’ under that unifying banner with liberty and freedom as their ‘call’...

And the rule is, Cross that religious thought at your own risk...
even your job and livelihood...

Separation of church and the secular humanist state is needed..

Real liberty and freedom is only found in Messiah...and it looks more and more that this means being at odds with the secular humanist religious, political and economic powers of the state..

I forget what public figure said it, but the other day one said that that there is indeed a gay mafia at work when they feel slighted.

The best metaphor for Eich's purge is from Orwell's novel 1984 where it was a crime, a thoughtcrime, to even harbor any idea contrary to Big Brother. What happened to Eich is also little different than the leadership purges in North Korea where even the families of those accused of thoughcrimes against Dear Leader are sent to concentration camps.

* Ignoring the fact that MCCARTHYISM is THE ROSETTA STONE OF LIBERAL LIES, in the sense that the word is used above ....

Pure hyperbole to compare to McCarthyism. I realize the comparison has to do with the tenacity of those going after Mr Eich. However, as loud and obnoxious as McCarthy was, he was not on a witch hunt as the media still likes to imply.

McCarthy was searching out Communists in our govt. seeking to harm us. History has proved him right. Richard Nixon and Bobby Kennedy actually worked together to out them, too, coming up with Whitaker Chambers (editor of Time) indictment, and ultimately outing Alger Hiss, a high govt official. However, the media STILL makes McCarthy the fall guy, ignoring all the additional evidence on Hiss and others that came out when the USSR fell.

In their own way, rabid homos are getting almost as detrimental to our country.

To answer the headline’s question, no. It equals fascism since it was an action taken by the head fascist at Mozilla, Mitchell Baker.
