I realize that all people are flawed (I certainly am), but McAllister campaigned with an explicit Christian family man appeal. He’s not Eddie Edwards, who was an open womanizer and never hid his true nature. So this scandal is a direct betrayal of the people who voted for him as well as his family. The fact that it’s on video makes it even more potent.
Here’s a mathematical formula:
blatant immorality + colossal hypocricy = public betrayal
If he resigned there might still be time to elect a replacement before November.

I don’t think he NEEDS to resign BTW, merely not running again works for me. Since he’s a RINO douche though it might be better to be rid of him sooner than later.

He should just resign, for being STUPID. Every body in the world knows that when you run as a “CONSERVATIVE” there is a “BULLS EYE” painted on your back. They are just waiting for you to screw up. AND THIS IDIOT DID JUST THAT. If he was running as the “HORNIEST” politician in Louisiana, he’d probably win hands down. But he was running on the “FAMILY VALUES” ticket. So, he betrayed his family, his voters and every body in Louisiana. GOOD BYE
