As to your question, what are we really going to do? We vote. We take control of our destiny. There is only one way to do that, become involved long before the big elections.
Know who we elect on the local level, from state legislators, judges, school boards, local legislators, even to the dog catcher if that is an elected position.
Don't like the GOP-e? The we stop sending them to DC. The only way to do that is to stop them on a local level.
We cannot change things from the top. We have to work from the bottom up.
Our opinions and votes should be based on fact. How to gather the facts? By a dialog on threads such as this. I have been provided with the resources I need to learn what has lead up to this situation. It is not puff.

Answered my own question.
Pulled up the sat photos of the property and there is an old airstrip there. Looks like it is not active.
They need to put it back into service and start using it. Start flying supplies into the Bundy family.
There is a NOTAM. Any pilot who did that would not be able to take off and land elsewhere without being arrested.

No serious sniper would expose himself at the top of the ridge like that. He would conceal himself just below the ridge in the brush.
These guys are exposing themselves purely for INTIMIDATION!

For now, watch them closely. I can't afford the trip just to hold signs and protest. If I lived closer, I would.
I can prepare for a situation that escalates. If the government fires on citizens, that would cause me to go. I don't want violence and people to die but I am not afraid.
I would be more than happy to go and hold a sign all day long if you would provide my fare (rental car or a plane ticket) would we be allowed to camp at the ranch? If not I would need money for a room.

I’m kinda new to the whole story but as far as I can understand this has been going on for over a decade, Bundy lost numerous court battles despite his claims he has legal right to allow grazing on Nevada owned property and now the feds decide to swoop in. It would appear that the state of Nevada up to this point had no intention of enforcing the court action.....so if the feds are involved there is the strong possibility the Reid/Chinese story is true. Why else would there be excessive force? It seems like something is missing from the story. What event happened that made Nevada want the land back? How did this start?
I don’t think the Social War is starting with this incident. However, this incident is evidence of the anger with the National government. Interesting from what is on the MSM the people appear to be all white.
