True story from long ago in Newark NJ. One of the junior citizens raped a local girl, daughter of one of the low level wise guys. Was chased into a blind alley. The pursuors just waited outside the alley for days all the while the police patrolled by, aware of the situation, and did nothing to stop it. Eventually the guy tried to make a break for it and found justice at the end of a few stilettos as they worked their way from the ground up.
Case closed and filed.
