The Feds can just wait until people disperse and go back in at any time. Eventually, they’ll win the battle because people lose interest.
The real problem will come when people find out what is really happening. It’s awfully suspicious that the feds have suddenly awakened and turned this into their top priority.
The Bundy’s are just a side show.
There is another way to look at this, though.
WE have awoken. I am frankly surprised by all the volunteers and protesters who flocked to Bundy’s aid. Some folks, a big group of bikers from Tennessee, are still on their way!
I think the gun grabbers started it, and the wake up call happened in Colorado with the recall elections, and then in Connecticut with people NOT complying with their tyrannical decrees.
Now I’m hearing from people everywhere how pissed off they are at the FedGov sending 200 SWAT cladded agents to deal with ONE rancher.
People are angry, and it seems to me now is not the time to let up, but channel that anger into something substantial, like we demand the rollback of FedGov, the 10’s of thousands of arms carrying FedGov agents, the militarization of the police in this country, and the blatant political IRS abuses, and of course nobodies favorite, Obamacare. Let’s turn this protest spirit into political action.
I’m sincerely proud of our activist conservatives right now.
As for the Bundy’s being a “side show”, I agree there too. This has certainly taken Lois Lerner, Elijah Cummings, Obamacare, illegal aliens, etc. off the front pages. Makes me wonder too what's coming down the road that we don't know about.
A point of interest to me was the way the BLM behaved. We have heard that Obama and his minions would ask prospective federal employees if they would be willing to shoot Americans (a “yes” replay was mandatory for employment). Well, we saw yesterday how that worked out. Not only were those on the ground willing to shoot Americans (thank goodness there were cameras there filming and lots of supporters), but I heard that there were even 200 sharp shooters aimed at them. Another point is at the beginning of his first term, Obama said he wanted HIS army and it be as well supplied as America's army. When the BLM left, there were over 80 brand new white vehicles for them to drive. As the reporter pointed out, the government could afford those, but couldn't afford to feed the “turtles” and just killed over 1,000 of them.
This may just be the spark that ignites a civil war, and we would play right into Obama’s hands.
It will be interesting to see how Reid talks his way out of this. Anyone with a shred of decency would resign his speakership and maybe even his seat in Congress, but we know Reid doesn't have any decency.
