Seeing the poor wording and grammar in the Militia’s signs, and Ms. Bundy’s internet post that she sent out to explain things made me proud. Ms. Bundy’s post I imagine was written in haste, to rally the troops.
And it shows that TRUE Americans don’t need to have a fancy education like those BLM college boys. Or the Senators from Ivy Schools. They are ordinary, hard-working people that know what is right. And what is wrong. And willing to stand up for it. I will not look down my nose at good people that may not get the spelling correct on a word they have use maybe six times (cerf, surf, serf) - or can’t remember the rules for “i before e”. (A seismic shift in thinking for some I suppose.)
The original reply of mine that started the whole “spelling” chain of errors wasn’t meant as a spelling nazi post. All I was trying to say was that I had an amusing mental picture after thinking about surfer dudes appearing before the king.
Then I went and misspelled it “Cerf” and now I am picturing Vince Cerf, the “father of the internet” (The other one, not algore) standing before the king trying to explain HTML.
