Lawbreaking Rancher Cliven Bundy Wins Victory That Will Embolden Domestic Terrorists (BARF!)
PolticusUSA ^ | 4-12-2014 | Keith Brekhus

The U.S. Bureau of Land Management announced today that it was ending its effort to seize Cliven Bundy’s herd of cattle that has been illegally grazing on federal land. The reason the BLM suspended the cattle round up was to protect the safety of federal employees and members of the general public. Bundy and a smattering of his right-wing supporters have threatened to wage a range war if the government continues with its effort to enforce the law. Let that sink in for a minute. The government is halting their efforts to enforce the law because of the threats being made by Bundy supporters.

In other words, the threat of violent opposition to the federal government enforcing current law, caused the government to back down and yield to the demands of domestic terrorists.

BYW This rancher was paying grazing fees to Clark County Nevada

But he refused to pay grazing feeds to the parasites in Washington DC

And Clark County declined to accept the grazing fees, because they don't own the real estate in question. The U. S. Government does. In fact, this Bundy guy was trying to pay any governmental entity he could find, except the one that actually owned the land he was running his cattle on. All this while proclaiming that he wasn't going to pay "the wrong landlord," when that, in fact, was exactly what he was doing.

I'm gratified that the BLM backed down, because doing so serves to defuse the situation, at least for the time being. But I'm not stupid enough to deceive myself into thinking that Mr. Bundy wasn't constructively stealing from the U.S. taxpayer, because he most assuredly was. He was grazing his cattle on BLM land without paying his allotment fees. For at least 20 years. If he were an honest man, he would not have been doing that.

And Mr. Bundy well knows it, too.

By the way...I don't have much use for the sniveling poofter who wrote the subject article. But to the extent he recognizes that Bundy has been appropriating U.S. government assets for his own use without payment (i.e., grass for his cattle), I'm willing to give him credit.

You need to do more research on the history of the two local grazing allotments.

“Where do domestic terrorists come form? Let see, they all had a religion in common.”

Domestic Terrorists = govt ‘3 Letter’ agencies. The list is long...all need to become non-existant...and in many cases the perps in these agencies need to be castrated and imprisoned.

HLS
ATF
FDA
BLM
IRS
EPA
NSA
DEA
CIA
CDC
FEMA
OSHA
FHA
FBI
TSA
DOJ
DOT
DOE

These are just a few, and a few are ‘four letter agencies’. Have fun, add to these. Most of these operate ‘outside the law’ by making their own ‘rules’. These are all ‘totally unconstitutional’ in the way they exist or in the way they operate.

Let this sink in for a minute...The government has halted their efforts to secure the nations borders because of threats being made by illegal aliens.

What you need to ask yourself is why you support the Feds owning 60% of Nevada land. This land should be out of Federal hands and owned by Nevada, by private citizens and Nevada counties

"A bunch of pussies."

Do you want the BLM to contract to Blackwater (or their progeny) for "security" in addition to contracting the helicopter cowboys from Utah?

“When in hell did it start being OK for the feds to buy up all the land?”

They didn’t buy up all the land. They didn’t buy anything. Various president’s have edicted it. Reagan stopped what Jimmy Carter tried to do, Clinton did it up ‘brown’, and his shit is all over this one.

While it might be better if these lands were in private hands, I was merely recognizing cold, hard reality. The USG has owned those lands since the admission of Nevada to the Union. Bundy is grazing his cattle on them. Every other rancher that uses BLM lands for grazing pays rental pursuant to a grazing lease, just like Bundy was up until 1993. Why is Bundy now supposed to be some kind of exception?

You need to go research the history of the restrictions on the two local allotments.

And here I thought this was going to be an article about illegal immigrant activists forcing the feds to not enforce immigration laws.

Sure. There’s some grass out there, but not much, because you need half a section to sustain one cow for a year. However, if there’s no grass on the federal tracts, Bundy has no reason to have his cattle on them. He could move them onto whatever lands he himself owns. He might have to feed the cattle himself, though.

Sorry but today’s FedGuv is a huge affirmative action program for liberals, woman and minorities. Washington DC is a tax sucking parasite. Get them out of the land owning business in Nevada and other states.
