So the way I understand it is that his family was using the land for many years before the feds got concerned about this tortoise.

They decide it’s endangered so then they start fining him? If that’s the case, the feds can do this to any of us. They can ruin our businesses and take our property. All they have to do is decide a rat, mouse, snail, or turtle is endangered. They can then start fining us and drive us out of home and/or business? That’s crazy.

They’ve been using the land for some 140 years.

Don’t forget the non-indigenous smelt in California preventing the San Joaquin valley getting adequate water allotments for irrigation during these drought years. The government is out of control.

"If that's the case, the feds can do this to any of us, they can ruin our businesses and take our property"

What's next for the feds? Militarize the DMV? You go in to pay your registration, and they will have cubicle snipers pointing guns at you. Then they will sick their DMV attack dogs on you, tackle you and taze you if you don't surrender your car to them? This makes as much sense as having the BLM militarized.

And the BLM is completly out of control. These federal agencies should not be militarized.

This all really started with the government shutdown

The fed agencies in D.C. were WAY OUT OF LINE. They put barricades around the WWII memorialand other memorials. They tried to shut the roads down and bullied people. They attempted to shut down the ocean.

They have no clue what the Constitution is about.

The feds are concerned about the wildlife, but there are documented cases of the feds killing the tortoises, too.
The feds want to corral the cattle, but do nothing to control wild horses, whose uncontrolled grazing does more damage than the cattle.

And the environmental concerns may be a smoke screen, though whether the goal is gaining control of the ranch’s water rights, oil and gas rights or taking it for a solar farm are unknown. Though all three are a possibility.

It’s best you don’t fall for that because that is not the TRUTH. I don’t CARE what neanderthal says. It’s not about turtles or grazing. Any research, does not “start” at the Bundy Ranch, but what is found concerning that eventual standoff, does lead there.

Anyone can find the truth if they seek it. Though it’s not on the surface.
