Combustion is still oxidation (it shares the root of the word “combine”). Try “The sun is a continuous thermonuclear reaction, releasing the equivalent energy of 9x10^10 (that’s 90,000,000,000) megatons of TNT every second.”
That’s pretty impressive by itself...
