A few years ago, a coworker told me that people who live in southern NH commute into Mass. for work.

They live in NH because of the high taxes in Mass.

Probably Liberals who are champions of higher taxes and at the same avoid taxes by moving outside of the high tax area that they created. Your usual Liberal hypocrite.

They flee the state that they destroyed and bring their same beliefs to the new state and the new state eventually the new state is no better, It happened that way here in Colorado.

FYI, as someone who has lived in NH for many years while working in MA. NH residents working in MA pay MA income taxes while paying the high property taxes of NH (which has no income tax). My situation was the worst of both worlds from a tax standpoint (although I saved a bunch on car insurance), but I thought it was worth of from a quality of life perspective (great place to raise kids).

NH has unfortunately shifted to the left since I moved here in ‘86, but I am sincerely hoping the the pendulum is swinging back. I’d like to live once again on conservative high-ground that will, I’m afraid, always be surrounded by the miasma of the other socialist states in the NE.
