Well, can’t say much having not seen the movie.
But, I question what the homosexual community objects to. I doubt that there are homosexual characters in this movie who are the “bad guys”, or that this movie shows homosexuality in a negative way.
If they are complaining that a movie shows the importance of mothers and fathers in the life of a family, and in the lives of their children, and they are pissed off that somehow this story ignores homosexuality, then they can just go have their hissy fit in private.
It doesn’t seem to take much for them to have a hissy fit. I fully expect calls for the criminalization of Father’s Day and Mother’s Day to begin at any moment.
