That's why so many of us object to the invasion of the US. In a fair vote, those from other places can win if they become too numerous. The Ukranian reality is the people who are citizens now. From the outside, it looks like the thug gov in Kiev is doing everything wrong if they want to win them over.
Look at it this way. 400 years ago almost everyone in North America was a native American Indian. Do they have rights to run the country now? Of course not. The people who are citizens do the voting.
