Those we didn’t kill we drove to reservations with promises of food and land. Some of the promised land, we actually kept our word. The promised food didn’t come. We then allowed enterprising businessmen to poison the remaining broken survivors with alcohol.
We took the remaining children the natives had away from them. We took the children that didn’t die on forced marches or die of starvation so we could make them “civilized”.
