The Chinese hold a lot of our worthless bills and bonds. They are busy buying up all sorts of property in the USA, at bargain basement prices, such a JP Morgan’s bank in NYC, if I remember right.
They are busy buying up all the gold they can get their hands on, and we are selling it to them, thanks to the games being played with the “paper price” of worthless claims on gold that isn’t actually there.
We are in a world of hurt. Our economy is sinking fast, but the MSM is covering for the bankers and brokers.
China probably wanted to get their hands on Bundy’s land as an “offset” for the solar energy plant they wanted to put up in Nevada. I wonder just who the Chinese thought they would sell the electricity to, and how much they expected us to pay for it.
I would comment on the entire water right situation, but I really don’t know enough about it to say anything intelligent. Except that the powers that be obviously want to send water to the cities, and if crops can’t be grown, too bad.
