The simple fact is that the American people will not support a war that sheds American blood and risks a nuclear disaster to define the borders of the Ukraine. Nor will the Germans send their troops into the Ukraine, fight Russians or impose serious sanctions that hurt the EU. Putin knows this better than anybody. Obama can whine, rant and complain and the MSM can portray him as Winston Churchill but Putin holds the trump cards.

The Obamunists destabilize Ukraine because they wanted to “get back” at Putin for the Syria Embarrassment.
The Director of the CIA goes to Ukraine and tells the U.S. hand-picked Coup government to fight (per Russian Media), and the only reliable Uke unit gets spanked doing so. That’s “remarkable restraint”?
That doesn’t work, and the Uke’s fail to follow through on the “absolute” deadline again. So now Obama tries to personally threaten Putin again?? His ego is writing checks americans have no desire to cash.
Whoever is advising Obama on this needs to be replaced, pronto. (Kerry?)

Bottom line:
The Obama administration created this mess, and handed Putin an opportunity that he couldn’t pass up, on a silver platter.
Now that the strategy is unraveling, President Mom Jeans is getting more shrill, and is trying to prove to Putin how big his schlong is. Against a guy that embodies the “Russian Male”, be it propaganda or not.

The Russians are laughing off the sanctions that the US Media breathlessly cheered, though they have publicly warned Russians overseas to be more careful.
They know Europe is too dependent on the two-way trade with Russia, to strengthen sanctions for anything short of a direct attack on a NATO ally, and that’s not going to happen.
And Putin replied, “MOOOoooooOOOOOOOO!”
Both Washington and Kiev can’t stand up to Russia.
This is not the Cuban Missile Crisis where the Soviets had to back down. The Soviets understood Cuba was in America’s backyard.
Ukraine IS in Russia’s backyard and whatever the Americans can muster up in the way of protest will have no effect on what Moscow chooses to do next.
That should be obvious to any one who knows how events play out in that part of the world.
