"Where in the Constitution does it say that unelected government agencies and agents can have many of the weapons of an army and can use these weapons against American citizens without due process?"
There WAS due process - two court orders. It is nothing new that government can use force to gain compliance with a court order. What bothers me is the government's increasing reliance on displays of disproportionate force.
where in the Constitution does it say unelected government agencies can own land and armies or oppress citizens? where? show me the clause.NO where
this is unconstitutional socialism/marxism and tyranny in a once free country . you support marxism . no wonder u are in Seatle
This entire episode was as ridiculous as the Department of Education Swat Team (!!) breaking down that guy's door in California, throwing in flash bang grenades and then dragging him out into the yard at gunpoint. The wrong person, the wrong house, and the wrong reason: stopping payment on a student loan.
Eventually the dog is not going to just bark and stay on the porch. And they know this.
There is absolutely NO reason for the BLM to carry anything but a medium caliber sidearm when replacing deer salt licks, maintaining roadways and watering sites, and counting trout. After all, aren't they always telling us there is no reason for any type of weapon other a small, 7-bullet magazine, semi-automatic handgun to protect ourselves? That argument cuts both ways.
