Well! You did it guys... The Bundy cattle are free to graze for free on federal land, and you “the tax” payer gets to foot the bill, while this rich rancher gets to profit from it! Yay! The Federal Government has lost billions of dollars on things like General Motors, solar projects, food stamps and EBT cards, fraud waste and abuse in Medicare, the “stimulus,” and any number of pork “bridge to nowhere” projects... The liberals squander billions (if not trillions!) As a conservative, those things outrage me, as i thought it did my fellow conservatives... But they strangely ignore Bundy’s crime of “taking” something from the Government! Not only taking from the government... But he’s exactly like those on food stamps and welfare who are able to work but are beating the system and allowing joe tax payer to foot the bill! All my conservatives supporting Bundy have now set a new precedent! You’re all such followers! Your disdain for the federal government, has neared you to “bleeding heart” status! You all just jumped on this bandwagon blindly, because your blog buddies support it! Or you saw an opportunity to hold your gun in protest! I’m really disappointed in many of you! Next thing we know, you’ll be grabbing your guns, banning together to stop the oil pipeline... because a building on public land might be torn down, causing the tenet who lives there, who hasn’t paid rent in 25 years to have to vacate! The Bundy family “took” nothing...they built a ranch on land that no one, not even the government wanted at the time. It was considered “worthless” until some enterprising young man decided to give it a go back in the 1870’s.
That same government, for some odd reason (Chinese solar, or wind power enriching Harry Reid anyone?) has been trying to steal it from them for decades and very nearly succeeded.
And you claim that the Bundy’s are stealing? It is but to laugh.

that rancher worked hard to build his business and he owns it. plus they provide meat for us. he’s not getting anything from the government . the federal government should get out of Nevada. they say they are stopping the rancher to protect some tortoise. no it’s about destroying industries, growing government(socialism) which does raise prices as they have crippled and regulated and taxed every industry

actually the federal government owns 86% of Nevada’s land . that is marxism/socialism .
