Judge Nap: 'I Was Shocked to See That the BLM Has Armed Troops'

Judge Andrew Napolitano reacted to the latest developments in the Nevada ranch standoff, telling Elisabeth Hasselbeck that the federal government has acted inappropriately and is trying to scare the Bundy family.

Fox and Friends played an audio clip of a Bureau of Land Management (BLM) special agent, who maintained that federal agents respect the Constitution and "understand free speech." He argued that the BLM was trying to avoid conflict, noting that some of the protesters were "holding rocks above their heads to throw at police officers."

Napolitano recalled that he was shocked to see that BLM agents were armed.

"The BLM is not a military or a law enforcement entity. I was shocked to see that they even have troops, dressed in camouflage and with M16's. It really looked like they were fighting a war against a foreign invader rather than enforcing a judgment against an American," said Napolitano, adding that the federal government cannot claim to have been respecting the First Amendment in this case....

Don’t believe it. BTW the Border patrol is NOT allowed to use deadly force against illegals throwing rocks.

From here: Armed EPA raid in Alaska sheds light on 70 fed agencies with armed divisions.
The agencies employ about 120,000 full-time officers authorized to carry guns and make arrests

That's about 10 divisions worth of civilians. Interestingly enough, the U.S. Army has 10 active divisions. Didn't Obama once say something about wanting a civilian security force equal in size and capability to the U.S. Army?

Now there is District, if it combined its reserves with all the rest of the California Vector Control Districts, that could wipe out any budget problems the State is facing.

Everybody has been worrying about the militarization of our law enforcement but that is not the real problem. The main problem is the militarization of our government and the fact that all that militancy is aim at the citizens. Our self selected elites are aiming for a hereditary ruling class that means the rest must become slaves to that class.

Whoops...Cops are government employees and in fact are hired guns for local, county and state governments.

It bothers me greatly that WE are being counseled to tone it done by the regime AND media types. Not just the regime’s lapdogs; but also by others who normally oppose the regime.

Those who support obedience to the state have conjured up a witches’brew of constructs - rule of law, resistance is futile, religion, etc. - all of which ignores the imperative that the regime has gone too far. For once, Rustler Reid was correct in saying: “This isn’t over.”

If not now, when? If not here, where?

They respect free speech as long as they can designate the pen for it.

Tyrannical governments always are militarized. They have to rule at the point of a gun.

Please someone organize a nationwide movement for the immediate resignation of Harry Reid. When does a sitting Senator and his family have the right to direct federal agencies to attack US citizens? This heinous act has to be answered with mass civil action to shame the miscreants out of public offices...investigation and/or prosecution must follow...

RE post 15: that was my first thought. The judge is not very well informed.

In fact, very few conservative "commentators" are as well informed as the average freeper. They are in for a lot of shocks.

” “holding rocks above their heads to throw at police officers.” Hey coppers, ya shouldn’t have been there to begin with.
Boy oh boy, so the federal gub mint is gonna shoot?
Did these a-holes not learn anything from WACO?
Or how about Ruby Ridge?
No, they didn’t learn a damned thing cause NO ONE WAS HELD ACCOUNTABLE.
Horiuchi should have been hung.
The top brass should have been hung publicly and left to rot for all to see.
Then this kind of gub mint crap would cease.
Hey Reid family, F-you. Hope your lives are ALL living hell henceforth.

Did you know the BLM shot and killed a young man not far from the Bundy ranch about 1-2 months ago?

Patton also said BLM rangers go through extensive training before stepping foot on public lands. "Before they do anything on the ground, they go through 17 to 18 weeks of training at our Federal Law Enforcement Center in Georgia," Patton said. After this, they go through an additional 12 weeks of training, plus another 40 hours of training every year to refresh their skills. "They would go through scenario trainings, they would go through defense training, they'll do the firearms training," Patton said. "When you go back to the training they're doing at the federal center, they're doing everything from communication training, interviewing skills, self-defense training, tactical training." According to Thursday's statement, both rangers have nearly 30 years of law enforcement experience and training between them. Patton says the BLM wants the public to understand that rangers are trained just like any other law enforcement agency. "Our rangers are highly trained. They are intensively trained and they go through physical, mental agility training yearly."

Most of them live East of the Mississippi and don't know jack about the West. If they are in NYC forget they are clueless. The dim bulb over Hannity is just beginning to come on. We live with BLM oppression everyday.

Perhaps the J-B-Ts of BLM will be identified via facial recognition and identities posted. This kind of thing happens online all the time...
