Because nothing qualifies you for the senate quite like abject failure, arrogance, and disdain for the “little people”.
I’m not defending her at all but at least she failed (spectacularly) at attempting to do something. By contrast, most senators don’t have any track record of doing, creating or producing anything whatsoever.
But she would nonetheless feel comfortable being there, surrounded by likeminded political hacks and jackals.
