I don’t care about the GOP. It (GOPe) probably needs destroying.

What’s at stake is conservatism and America, which infinite illegal immigration will destroy. I do care to protect against that.

Agreed except infinity LEGAL immigration is also bad. If we want to preserve American culture, like our love for liberty, then we can’t keep importing people who love socialism. It’s as simple as that, and it doesn’t matter whether that importation is legal or illegal.

I should add that Democrats don’t hide the fact that they want to fundamentally change the USA, and they’re not stupid. They may be foolish (because the brave new world they want to create won’t work), but they know what they’re doing, and high immigration serves those purposes nicely.

"What’s at stake is conservatism and America,"

The tragedy is that the Left's steady stream of vitriol equating any effort to retain traditional American culture with hatred & bigotry has worked to confuse even most Conservatives, so that it has become a taboo subject to look at potential immigrants from the standpoint of that preservation.

Of course it is neither hateful nor bigoted for any people to want to preserve their own cultural heritage in their own lands. Nor is it hateful or bigoted for people to identify with those with whom their family have shared a common heritage, down through the generations. Unfortunately, most folk simply will not calmly sit down & think about that. They have been conditioned to be "gun shy" over even a calm discussion of the questions involved.

Hence, for example, the parting of the Heritage Foundation with a bright young Conservative intellectual, Jason Richwine, over just such a consideration.

America, in any recognizable form, is going to die as an entity, unless more of us wake up to the reality involved.
