Plugging your ears and stomping your feet adds nothing to the question.

Avoiding showing your work adds a LOT to the discussion.

Your refusal to accept the facts of the scriptures cannot be remedied by anyone else’s ‘work.’

The ten northern tribes are called goyim in the scriptures numerous times. This is not readily noticeable in the English translations where the word “nations” is often put in its place.

The “lost sheep of the House of Israel” were the primary “gentiles” to which the apostles ministered. This is not universal though, as those that sojourned with Israel are spiritually a part of them.

Ezekiel 47:

[21] So shall ye divide this land unto you according to the tribes of Israel.
[22] And it shall come to pass, that ye shall divide it by lot for an inheritance unto you, and to the strangers that sojourn among you, which shall beget children among you: and they shall be unto you as born in the country among the children of Israel; they shall have inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel.
[23] And it shall come to pass, that in what tribe the stranger sojourneth, there shall ye give him his inheritance, saith the Lord GOD.

I appreciate your interest in what I posted.

All your questions and concerns are legitimate and hopefully they will be answered to your satisfaction in the days to come once you start reading.

Religion in our society is always more than a simple belief in God. For those who are happy with and deeply involved in their religion, there is no reason to turn their world upside down by forcing anything, even if it’s the truth, on them, unless they’re open to it. My posts are meant for those who are having doubts to begin with. To complicate matters further, truth to one person may be heresy to another. Therefore, even though I want nothing more than to see everybody know the same comforting truth about God as I’ve learned it, I cannot delude myself thinking everyone will want it, especially when doing so requires one to relinquish some of his/her long-held beliefs taught by the church.

Your post tells me you are serious and ready, and I will gladly send you the information later today or tomorrow at the latest.

As to Prov. 14:12, sometimes the truth simply resonates. Other times, we will have to use our judgment and weigh any new information on its own merits and not let the source unduly influence us (as you will see, this is very important). Do you think people will be as willing to accept things like virgin birth and resurrection if these things were not pushed by a powerful church?

Re: A jealous God

So you think God wants our constant praises and tributes (another Bible concept) and worries about competition?

If that is the case, how come God doesn’t show Himself more instead of seemingly silent and absent most of the time, and especially during the times when we need Him desperately?

>> “Every person coming from the womb is his or her own person and grows into being responsible for actions of his or her own...not the actions of the mother. Momma can be a murderer but son still be a preacher... even an offspring’s own blood supply is separate from the mother.”

Bravo! Very well said.

You just made the perfect case against the idea of a born sinner.

I’m not sure you picked up on my meaning. You may want to read the post of mine you’ve responded to in light of my other posts on this thread.

If you say so then I must have made a serious mistake thinking your questions were genuine coming from someone truly looking for answers.

Obviously I didn’t know much about your posting style, and I sincerely regret not having done all the necessary research before replying.

That’s fine. My previous posts indicate that I have already found the answers...I have absolute confidence in “the scriptures which are able to make one wise unto salvation.” A loving God has communicated His character and nature to us through scripture. John writes:
John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
and later...
Joh 20:30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:
Joh 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

A loving God has removed all doubt about eternal life:
Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

It is exclusive...exclusively God’s. Notice no reference to a religion, a denomination, a sect. It is a straightforward communication through the written word of God. God has, in Christ, reconciled the world to Himself, by making “Him, Who knew no sin to be made sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.” Scripture tells us that you and I have no claim to heaven because of our sin. You and I can do nothing to justify ourselves in God’s eyes. Our sin render us unrighteous in the eyes of a Holy God. God cannot ignore sin (for He is just). Sin’s penalty must be paid for in order for the sinner to be justified. An Old Testament verse I was attempting to get A_Perfect_Lady to consider that deals with our unrighteousness is:

Isa 53:11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

The righteous servant spoken of here is One who CAN justify others—it speaks of one who is apart from sin (for who can justify himself when he, himself is unrighteous), it speaks of Christ. Lady rejects this. The Jews (both today’s and yesterday’s) have rejected this (except for some - a faithful remnant.) This, in part, is the gospel/good news that is presented in the Old Testament/New Testament scriptures. You either accept it as such or you don’t. There is no hemming and hawing. It is what it is. I, and a number of others on this particular thread, have all indicated that their confidence in belief in God stems from reading and believing in the communication God has sent forth - His Word (which, by the way is how John refers to Christ in the opening of his gospel.) This is the what and the how of my belief in God. I have never once mentioned a group or “religion.”

My questions were really more of a challenge to you to truly look at what you believe and upon what it is that causes you to believe so. You were positing statements about God that indicate some level of confidence, yet these clearly conflict with the God revealed in the bible. I was trying to get you to articulate where your statements of faith are anchored. The heaven-bound saint finds a righteousness not his own in Christ that clothes him/her for heaven. It does not come from any personal belief/idea/understanding he/she has. It does not come from a church or a dogma. It does not come from self-justification. It comes from God in Christ as revealed by His word.

The “lost sheep of the House of Israel” were the primary “gentiles” to which the apostles ministered.

Now all you need to do is to SHOW me just WHERE, in Scripture, these things you claim, occur.

Would you do that for me; for I can ONLY read the English on the page.

I can't 'accept' facts if they are NOT printed on the page in a language I understand.

Complicated indeed, for the quotes around truth are missing.

The TRUTH canNOT be a 'heresy' to ANYONE!

No, for what was done in Mary was done of the Holy Spirit...the sin taint is carried through the father’s line not the mother. As Paul states, As in Adam all dies, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. It was the seed of Eve, a woman, from whom the one to crush the serpent’s head was to come...not the seed of Adam. Mary, a virgin was that favored woman thru which the Holy Spirit worked, thus giving birth to our Saviour. Now you can believe it or not..but it is what Christianity teaches.
