So let’s do this math:
Police have to constantly shoot peoples dogs because they are in peril of being killed by them.
Citizens, lots of places including LA where this happened, are not allowed to have any means of protecting themselves from these dogs that police consider a lethal threat.
In this case, 2+2 means the government doesn’t care if you die.

I was recently in my favorite kitchen boutique when the owner walked in with his dog - which was on a very tight leash - obviously intended as a watch dog. I was close by, so I stopped stock still, eyes averted with the back of my left hand slightly out towards the dog. The owner was a bit peeved, I think, when the dog slowly approached me and sniffed my hand. Big tail wag. We were best friends after that.
