My experience pretty much mirrored your own!
had it not been for the coverage across all the networks...I might have mistaken the events i was watching for a real nasty version of the TWILIGHT ZONE!
I may have gotten indoors before you. It was still at a standoff. Whatever network I was watching was describing the residents and showing the compound with its buses and all.
Then 2 soldiers were seen breaking in to the house’s second floor. A bit after that I saw the tanks moving in and had a bad feeling about it.
Things like burn into my brain.
