So hearsay is now “evidence”. Judge Judy would even throw that out.

How is this hearsay if the complaint was directly brought by the student who says the teacher said this?

Good point. The teacher should sue the student and family for back wages and defamation.

Where are his witnesses? Student’s word against teacher’s is not “evidence”.

That is hearsay evidence. Me telling you what I heard someone else say is hearsay, regardless of who I am claiming said what.
