Yes, the Ukraine has a history of Nazi collaborators and many of them joined the SS (Just as many French did as well), but I just don’t see the new interim government doing something this blatantly stupid while begging for the West’s help, just as I don’t see Putin doing anything this PR-stupid as well.

And I have no doubt of the authencity of that letter. IMO Putin would love to use persecution of Jews as an excuse to intervene. What is western Europe going to say, no, leave the Jews to their fate. What Putin needs is a mini Kristalnacht. And if it could be established it was a Putin ruse, Barry and the Euros would jump on that.
