To claim stealth capability as so much a force multiplier is about as credible as to say a digital camo coat makes one invisible and invulnerable to enemy fire. There are newer more sensitive radar technology these days making stealth capabilities less appealing, not to mentions improved ir and optical sensors which makes no difference between F-16 and F-35.

The Mig has old fashioned mechanically steered radar. (see article) The F-22 uses a fixed phased array radar that radiates in a steerable tight beam. It also hops from one frequency to another so fast it is difficult to detect.

The old style radars are like a flashlight in a dark room. They can be detected long before target returns can be seen.

One of these against an F-22 is like a man with a flashlight fighting a man with night vision goggles. That was the whole idea of the F-22. Don't fight fair.
