"Florida is ground zero for sea-level rise," U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson told the Senate while announcing a field hearing in Miami Beach on Tuesday, which is Earth Day.

Note the 'coincidence' of a Newspaper, a Politician and an 'Event' day, as basis for a theme on AGW/AGCC? However, reading the actual story you can see that much of the problem comes from increased population draining the supporting acquirers and thus leading to land subsidence being a cause of incursive seas.

I believe, however, it will be safe to assume, that former astronaut Bill Nelson will not allow this inconvenient truth to color his 'rally the base' speech on Earth Day!
