When you pack billions of people into cities that should hold millions at most, you are going to get denser pollution. Same thing in NYC, Chicago, LA, and Baltimore...just not as populated.
Many who live in those places have no idea that the rest of the world is spacious.
Then again, many who live in the spacious areas have no idea that people in cities live so close.
