Why is the prison system i.e. detention & punishment interested in whether the person identifies as a woman, a Beatles fan, a hang gliding enthusiast or a gardener?

That’s kinda how I see it. A “Transgender” man that is sincere in his sexual confusion is merely mentally ill and should be treated as such. Treating him as a woman, right down to letting women try to handle him is sheer lunacy.

EXACTLY how I see it. Encouraging this kind of mental illness to create another class of “victims” isn’t a kindness, it’s doing them a disservice. It’s child abuse. It’s lunacy. One does not create a zebra by painting stripes on a horse, for crying out loud!
