Right. The general difference between libertarians and conservatives is religion, religious issues, or societal issues. The two are shoulder to shoulder on a number of issues but on some they differ.
I used to listen to Neal Boortz every day, who’s a libertarian, but after the 2012 election, when he blamed conservatives for the republicans loss, I didn’t listen to a word he said again. Because we conservatives knew all along that Romney and his ilk would lose. We supported LITERALLY everybody but him throughout the primaries. But it was to be Romney and Romney it was to be no matter what we did or said. The consequences were the fault of the moderate establishment, who we all know backs loser after loser.
Libertarianism is anti-God, and anti-American, and is a different approach to destroy conservatism and support the left.

Paul has come out calling on the GOP to abandon it’s fight against it and social issues in general, social conservatism is the only path to limited and small government, social liberalism only leads to more social liberal voting, which means more moving to the left.
