Thomas Jefferson was born into a slave-owning family and inherited the slaves at 11 when his father passed away. And while Jefferson was against slavery, he kept the slaves for their protection, blacks probably not having 2nd Amendment protections at a time when you didn't leave the house without a gun; the whole country was wild, wild west.

Regarding Bundy, I think that the bottom line is that liberals are using using the Hollywood slavery stereotype to attack Bundy and conservatives. After all, as noted by Bundy, I think that even slavery was arguably better than being in prison, a disproportionate percentage of blacks now in prison if I understand correctly.
So, slavery “might not have been that bad” huh? And you’re equating slavery with being in prison? Where one is a choice and one is not?
