They don't build them like they used to. Marcus Agrippa built and dedicated the original Pantheon during his third consulship (27 BC). It was rebuilt during the period 120-126 AD under Emperor Hadrian. I have been to the Pantheon many times. I consider it to be one of the greatest architectural achievements of all-time.

Point taken. Build it right, and you don't have to worry about repairs. I would add as an addendum Il Duomo in Florence.
