No doubt that’s coming, and for that reason, I’m glad to be the age I am, (old). Sadly, the youth are walking into this trap quite willingly and without any knowledge of the future consequences and they’re doing it on Facebook. The day of reckoning won’t be pretty.

re: being "old"

Went to my 50th HS reunion last year. Enough stuff was planned to remind us of the lives we lived as teenagers and the hopes we had for the future. It's been painful to realize how different today's world is from what it could've and should've been.

Those of us over 65 or so aren't as old in many ways as those who think it's all about playing the game and letting others decide what to think and feel. If there isn't a turn-around before us "old" ones are gone, it will not happen for decades, maybe generations, probably not without catastrophic events in between.

Enough of that....my dog wants to walk me now, and cheer me up. <^..^>
