I think Kareem kind of gets it -- the power brokers don't care about racism at all. They can happily ignore it. But, if they want to use it as a tool, then it's handy.
Almost anyone can be taken down at any time, and racism is one of the effective ways to do it. There is always more to it than meets the eye, but the bottom line is that the big shots couldn't really care less if Sterling is racist -- if they cared, they would have done something long ago. They didn't.

This is a teachable moment. Too bad the race hustlers got out in front of this mess and wasted it.
I heard Meta World Peace was on Greta with such an attempt. Did anyone here see it?

This is an old school NBA guy that has probably been through far more racism than any of these new jerks that are now complaining.

"I think Kareem kind of gets it -- the power brokers don't care about racism at all. Kareem has it about right. Assuming the tape is legit, he’s got issues and has major consequences on the way. He’s simply in a business where that cannot stand. The person who recorded and leaked the tapes deserves jail time. There are no winners here.

Yeah, I saw the start of the Meta Peace piece on Greta, but he was so badly inarticulate, I had to change the channel.

Yup. He knows the students of Alinsky when he sees them. Alinsky openly admitted that he couldn't care less about the poor or minorities. He cared only that they were useful tools for his own gain.

Wasn’t this Muslim jackass once quoted as being gleeful at news of plane crashes carrying white passengers?

Kareem, the wordsmith. I’m impressed.

He thinks you can’t spell his former name.

Exactly! How honest is he willing to be?

When I was a kid, I thought his name was Lou Al Cinder. Short for Louis Allan.

Educated too. How many NBA players go around making Lord of the Fly references. How many can actually read today.

I know Kareem was at one time into guns and the Single Action Shooting Society. I once ran into him at a gunshop in Orange County, California.
