Yes I know. I think Oklahoma has since passed laws forbidding it. All states need to do this.

ah the great divide of secular vs religious law. Lucky for most in america the issue was settled about 2000 years ago.

Matt 22:21 comes to mind.

Then again about 200 years ago.

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”

Let’s not be hasty now.

Let’s think this through.

OK, what’s possible under Sharia law?

You can beat your wife, as long as you don’t break the skin.

You can have four wives, or, in some sects, as many as you can financially support.

In the strictest interpretations of Islam (eg, Saudi Arabia), women can’t vote, drink or drive.

American feminists’ reaction to all of this? Silence. They’re now more worried about “micro-aggressions” and “trigger words” on college campuses.

If American women aren’t worried by the prospect of Sharia law, why should I be? Sounds like a hell of a deal from where I sit. All I have to do is bang my head on the carpet five times a day and in return, I get to give the feminists what they wanted (the end of “white patriarchy”) good and hard.

Count me in.
