An Australian exploration company says it might have found the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 and its not in the Indian Ocean.
The company, called GeoResonance, claims that it has identified possible wreckage from a commercial airliner on the ocean floor in the Bay of Bengal, Australias 7News reports.
The Bay of Bengal, marked on the map below, is about 3,100 miles away from the circled area of the southern Indian Ocean where authorities have been looking for the missing plane.

They should be hired to also search the current area of interest.
Yeah, right, whatever. Wake me when they find it. This has been the most FUBAR’d of press events ever. From Malaysia to CNN - enough already.
BREAKING NEWS: We still know nothing.
Yawn..
When they take out the “may”, I may read it.
I like this a whole lot better than the South Indian Ocean. It’s a more logical site for the plane to be found. The Indian Ocean location is on the way only to Antarctica, and I rather doubt MH370 was on a mission to save penguins.
LOL! One reason I no longer watch TV.
Looks like a more logical flight path may be true?.
So, if the plane did turn north (which one General has always maintained), then they could have just disposed of baggage or fuel (especially since the plane just took off, and I would presume that some fuel would have to be dumped prior to landing the plane at a closer location than was originally planned).
So ..... I’m still betting on the General’s analysis .. the plane is on the ground somewhere in Pakistan or Iran. My bet is on Pakistan. Remember, they kept Osama hidden for years .. which leads me to believe Pakistan is the likely place to find the aircraft.
And .. my second reason is because Pakistan has never recovered from our assault upon their country to get at Osama. Even though I understand why we kept it secret from Pakistan .. it was a brazen move.
RE: which leads me to believe Pakistan is the likely place to find the aircraft.
To what end though? Pakistan has lots of planes...
That’s a long way from these:
Inmarsat arcs and flight paths and search areas

That possible Southern Corridor route looks less and less likely.
“... to what purpose ...”
Well .. for instance .. it would make a great flying bomb .. just strip everything out .. load it with explosives (possibly nuke material - dirty bomb stuff).
What better use .. just paint the outside to look like a regular plane that lands in Israel .. and VOILLA!
Just my opinion.
The Muslims have never given up their plans to destroy Israel.
Well, they had a 1/360 chance (ignoring minutes and seconds).
Ed
I'm with you.
Or load up a bunch of Ebola infected people to send as a biological weapon somewhere.....Seems like I read that scenerio in a Tom Clancy novel...
My bet is still the 12,000-foot runaway at the Indian-built harbor/highway/railroad/airport terminal at Chahbandar, Iran.
If India is involved with Iran and rogue Malaysian elements, whoa Nellie!
Those poor families of the missing.
