There was another botched execution at BIG MAC. A local man committed two murders over in the edge of Oklahoma.
He was sentenced to die, but they completely forgot about him till several months after the execution date had passed. So they sentenced him to Life. His victims got no such reprieve.

Gary Gilmore doesn’t want to hear it. i was a child when he was executed... did he choose his method of execution? i seem to recall that he chose firing squad over hanging--which seemed to me to be the more efficient of the two...

Bring back the guillotine...it’s almost impossible to botch that. I dig the simplicity and reliable operation, but the engineer in me thinks the design needs an update. Maybe something with electromagnets or high-powered lasers.
