In a different time and era, I would have no problem with worrying about this, as I knew then that the US Supreme Court would follow the US Constitution, the same that I have taken and sworn a lifetime oath to.

In what "time" and era would that have been? The only time I could see that reassurance was about, say, never.

The Anti-Federalist had the "usurpation of the Court" pegged down a long time ago.

Should the person being detained be forced to divulge the message they sent verbally?

The NSA already has that recording.

the democrats have a nightmare big brother world planned for us that has never been seen.

with the technology given to them by the private sector (google , smart phones etc) these monsters will be able to track and control our every more , our every financial transaction , everything we be , where we go etc. ..

NO country ever in the history of the world ever had this much control , these many laws as the USA NOW has . NO government in the history of the world has been this large in the the number of agencies , gov programs . and this is just at the federal level. add to that level of tyranny state and local governments. they wrote 40,000 new laws last year alone. this is just the beginning too. the democrats goal is full socialism total control of all property , all our actions, all our economic transactions by the government. they are getting the technology to achieve this control. other tyrants in the past didn't have this much control because they didn't have the technology

Years ago, the federal courts decided that because cell phones are wireless, there can be no expectation of privacy, and that their use even negates the privacy of someone speaking to them using a land line.

From that moment, I decided that I never needed a cell phone, nor even a land line phone, for other than brief and mundane communications.
