Europe is notorious for refusing to extradite people to the US.Europeans...and European politicians and judges...almost universally see our justice system as "cowboy justice" (a phrase I've heard used by Europeans). However,in spite of that I'd be more than willing to extradite this girl to Italy. If it was Uganda,Mexico,Pakistan or China I wouldn't.If the charge was "blaspheming Islam" or "denying the Holocaust" (which is a crime in Germany) I wouldn't.
But in this case I say "send her back".

But in this case I say "send her back". Since she was previously found "not guilty", extraditing her would subject her to double jeopardy, which is why I think US judges will likely say no.

(You don't notice it's a police state until the police come for you.)

I would not send back an innocent person.
